Operation. Counter Service Restaurant

Following the success of the newly refurbished unit at Lakeside, we have been tasked with refreshing a number of other units within the Café Giardino estate. With minimal budgets, we needed to concentrate on areas that would give maximum results.

The existing units would generally be visually cluttered with artwork, menus, promotional material etc… set against a mix match of colours, large areas of repetitive seating and poor lighting. A strategy was developed that simplified the decoration colour palette, whilst also adding bright bold features to units that could take it. A mixture of existing and new furniture and new lighting features were added to break up areas and provide interest, with the finishing touch being classic Italian black and white pictures.

As can be seen from the pictures, the results are a transformation and will be developed further over the coming months on other units so as to avoid all being exactly the same.
