The second of the new design Café Giardino units at Crawley had the benefit of walls and ceilings to allow us to develop the concept design even further from the hugely successful Mall unit at Lakeside, Thurrock.

Taking key elements from the original design, the development centered around creating distinct areas within the large open space; a journey through the unit from the bold counter by the entrance through the dinning area and ending at the lounge space to the rear. Breaking up the areas with various seating styles and lighting features has removed the boring layout so common with these type of operations. The introduction of bespoke wallpaper and Italian imagery not only extends the core brand values, but also adds visual impact and interest to the design style that will then be developed further on future projects. And best of all, trade has increased dramatically since the refurbishment. Again proving good design is good business.
