Operation. Quick Service Restaurant and Take-Away
A true consultation project, we were appointed by Grab to work with their young in-house design team (branding and interiors) to assist in bringing their vision to life. With a very distinct style in mind that sat well with the street food offer, and a very tight budget, we assisted in tying the vision together. We also sourced and specified specific materials, detailed accordingly to allow budgets to be finalised and contractors appointed and gained full Building Control and Planning Approvals for the works.
With such a tight budget, creative thinking and detailing was required to maximise the impact of the design. Reclaimed palettes and galvanised roofing sheet to the walls, painted bare concrete floor and rough sawn timber planks to counter and tables all add to the ‘street’ feel that create a distinct and bold design that works very well with the operation, and one that has already been recognised by Grand Design Magazine.
