Operation. Country Pub

The Plough at Stalisfield Green is a real country pub in the heart of Kent with an enviable reputation for the exceptional locally sourced drinks and award winning food it serves.

Dating from the 14th and 15th Century and with bags of existing character typical to this type of architecture, it was important that this was not lost within any design proposals! Set over two individual rooms, our brief was to lightly restyle the main bar area to address operational issues on the layout, and improve existing key elements such as lighting.. The second room, currently less successful, needed a stronger design input to transform the area and make it more appealing. Special consideration has been given to the flooring, wall finishes and lighting to give a more homely, relaxed environment, which is lacking at present. One of our most challenging appointments to date, we are looking forward to bring the designs to life!
