Operation. Local Bar and Eatery

Located in the heart of Brockley, SE London, The Gantry is a true local Bar and Eatery for this fast developing neighbourhood. Set within a compact Victorian end of terrace conversion, the Architecture of the building lends its self to the eclectic style of design.

With small individual rooms, each having their own style, with a mixture of rough industrial finishes set against elegant detailing such as the timber wall panelling and parquet flooring. Existing joists and brickwork were exposed to provide the rustic feel to contrast with the elegant. Not a brick slip in sight! Being so small, the critical part of the design was to accommodate the operational requirements whilst still allowing the space to be useable and have character. This has been achieved with stunning results.
